It was a wet and chilly weekend in Houston, but I love that it's starting to feel like Winter! The weather was a great excuse to spend the weekend at home, enjoy our Christmas tree/decorations, and sip on eggnog. Mmm. It also made for the perfect excuse to pull out my coats, sweaters, and this amazing poncho I had been wanting to wear.
I was thrilled when I came across this poncho last month. Not does it look exactly the same as Burberry's, but it is a fraction of the price - only $85 and the monogramming is included! I love the nova-check pattern, and the warm, seasonal colors. It is great for travel - just throw it over a comfy shirt, leggings and sneakers, or dress it up over a LBD for a night at the symphony. It would also make for the perfect, personalized gift for your mom, sister, best friend, or even yourself, who are we kidding?! ;)
