Happy Friday, everyone! I hope you've had a fantastic week.

My birthday and the musical yesterday were fantastic, and a great way to ring in my birthday. I received so many sweet messages, calls, cards and gifts from my family and friends. I am so thankful to have such amazing, loving people in my life. 29 is definitely starting off on a high note.

I recently got this geometric print sweater from SheIn, and cannot get enough of its bold color combination. The zipper detailing also adds a fun element to it. I always feel like sweaters can be so drab, not to mention hot, so I'm always happy to come across ones like this. I also recently found some fantastic and feminine sweaters at Banana Republic. Most of which were already on sale, with an additional 50% off! I purchased this one, and absolutely love it. So cute, right?

I receive a lot of questions when I'm out and about on my pink marble iPhone case, so I wanted to be sure to share it with you too. It's from CaseApp, where you can create your own custom phone case or laptop skin. Upload a photo or design that you love, or choose from their pre-made designs, like I did. We are all on our phones way too much, so why not have a case that is unique and truly you. If you shop CaseApp from now until February 6th, you'll receive a 20% discount with promo code: ASHLEYNICOLE20

Have a great weekend!

Happy Wednesday! Can you believe that we're already counting down the last remaining days of January?

I can barely get my head around the fact that my birthday is already tomorrow! Although I can't say I'm excited to get another year older, I love getting to celebrate and all the festivities that surround it. I always like reflecting on the past year, what I've learned, and what I hope to achieve in the coming year, as well. It's kind of like my New Year, I guess!

Tomorrow night we're kicking off my celebratory long weekend and going to see The Bridges of Madison County musical. I'm a huge theater buff, and the movie is among one of my favorites, so I was thrilled when Adam surprised me with tickets. It won the 2014 Tony for best score, so I'm really looking forward to a mid-week date night birthday celebration. On Saturday we'll be going out with all our friends, which I'm so excited about. It's always nice to have a great excuse to get everyone together, and an excuse for presents doesn't hurt either! Haha.

Of course you know I've been planning my outfits accordingly, and when I came across this Nicole Miller top, it just screamed party. I love the mix of lace and fringe, and the length is very flattering. It's an unexpected twist on two common trends, which is really fun. It could also be paired with a pencil skirt, leggings, or white denim. I found a super similar top from H&M that looks nearly identical, comes in black and white, and is a fraction of the price - only $9! It'll have you twirling into the weekend...

See you Friday, friends!

Fresh Faced for the New Year

ShopSosie dress  | Kendra Scott necklace  ℅ | Bronzallure bracelet & ring

When I was approached by Enza Essentials to try out their skincare line, I was a bit hesitant at first. I was nervous to switch up my regimen, which has more or less been the same since high school (minus the new addition of wrinkle cream)! It isn't like I use the priciest lotions or face wash, but I do stick with brands that I know and trust. Also, for those who know me, change doesn't always come easy for me.

That being said, I've been using Enza's carefully crafted. step-by-step, customized skin care suite for a little over a week now and it's been amazing. You start by filling out a simple questionnaire about your current skin regimen, concerns, allergies, etc. From there your skin care experts (did I mention that Enza was created by a M.D.?) put together the perfect, hand picked skin care package for you. No guessing if your products will work together, or which product gets applied first and how often to use them, they do all the work for you!

I received the Saturation System, which is created for those with skin that tends to be on the drier side. Not only does it keep your skin nourished, but it helps create firmer, and healthier skin, which is great for me since I am conscious of skin damage and fine lines. The step-by-step system is so easy, and my skin is thanking me for all the moisture it's receiving. I can't remember the last time it looked so smooth and was this soft. It has also helped even my skin tone, and has worked seamlessly into my morning and evening routine.

I would definitely recommend giving Enza a try. Head to their website now and fill out the quick questionnaire. If you decide to purchase the skin care suite they create for you, you'll receive 30% off! What better way to start the new year.

P.S.  This gray & white t-shirt dress from ShopSosie is my constant go-to. Whether it's for a comfy, casual night at home, or for a warm weather day spent running errands, to sightseeing on vacation, it's the softest and most practical dress, ever, Head to their website now to shop an array of clothing, shoes and accessories at affordable prices. All About The Accessories

TGIF!

I know, I know, I say the same thing every Friday, but when the weekend approaches, I can't help but get excited. Plus, next week is my birthday, so the whole month I've been anxiously awaiting it's arrival.

With Valentine's Day just around the corner as well, I can't help but focus on its romantic color scheme - red and pink. I'm not sure how these color became synonymous with the holiday, but I'm not complaining, as I love seeing pink everywhere. Don't be surprised if you see a lot of Cupid's colors popping up in my upcoming posts.

I recently came across a fabulous accessory based website called, Coco Loves Rome. Not only is the name fun, but they have tons of great purses, earrings, necklaces, sunglasses and scarves. Everything is so cute, it's dangerous. My evil eye snakeskin clutch, pearl and gold drop earrings, and crystal nail cuff, are all from there. These accessories worked seamlessly together to make this little pink dress a bold statement. I topped it off with one of my favorite necklaces that I purchased while shopping at the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul.

Coco Loves Rome & I have teamed up to give one lucky winner a $50 gift card to their site. All you have to do is sign up for their newsletter here, and scroll to the bottom of the page. The winner will be announced on Monday, January 25th!

They're also offering 20% off, site-wide, to all my readers & followers! Head to my Instagram now to get the promo code!

Have a great weekend:)

All About Stripes

Frame Denim white jeans | J.McLaughlin striped sweater | Scarves.net scarf  | Dolce Vita booties {old, similar style here - under $100!} | Gucci purse {vintage, similar style here & here} | Zayver Designs bracelet | chloe + isabel earrings {similar style here}

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

This striped sweater from J.McLaughlin has been a go-to of mine ever since I bought it in December. I love the pink and navy color combo, the quality is phenomenal, and the button detailing on the sleeves is perfect. The original price tag was a bit steep, so I can't begin to tell you how elated I was when I realized they are now on sale for nearly 60% off. It comes in three other color combos, as well.

I don't know what it is about stripes that makes them effortless and constantly on-trend, but I have definitely been wearing a lot of them recently. I've been playing up patterns and mixing stripes with leopard print, and loved pairing this sweater with this chevron print multi-colored pashmina from Scarves.net. It is so soft, and can easily be dressed up or down. Scarves.net has hundreds of styles and colors to choose from, for both men and women. Their prices are super reasonable too, with most scarves costing less than $20 (this one was only $10.50).  They're currently offering 30%  off site wide with code: WINTER30

See you Friday, friends!

Winter White Dream

LuLu's Dress {similar here, here & here} | Belt {vintage - my grandmother gave it to me!} | Elaine Turner cork heels {similar here & here} | Accessory Concierge necklace | Ray-Ban sunglasses

This week started out chilly in Houston, and it definitely is making me miss the beach. I know I shouldn't complain about 48 degrees when the rest of the country is below zero, but I'm no longer used to this weather! Brr. Adam was making fun of me the other day, and asked how I could even survive in Wisconsin during the winter when I was in high school there, and I told him that you become acclimated...which is exactly why I am NOT used to the cold now. Haha.

These pictures were taken on our most recent trip to Mexico over the holidays. I don't know what it is about warmer climates or the beach. but I always gravitate towards wearing white. I got this dress from LuLu's a few years ago, so it is no longer available, but I've tagged three exact dresses above. What I like about this dress, is it can be dressed up or down, and the cut and open back is flattering on every body type.

I'm a huge fan of belts if you haven't noticed, and this seashell one from my grandma is one of my favorites. It's crazy to think that she wore them, then passed them onto my mother and now I have them. Stretchy belts are perfect for complimenting, and/or giving a waist to dresses, tops and sweaters. Since this one is vintage, you can find some similar looking belts here

Happy Monday, friends!

Who all tuned into the Golden Globes last night? I absolutely love award season! Not only do I love seeing all of the gowns, but I love seeing what television shows and movies are nominated. I definitely need to get to it and see a lot of movies before the Oscars in February. Each year I host a girl's only Oscar party, and it doesn't feel right to play host when I haven't seen everything. On the top of my list is. Carol, The Big Short & The Revenant

The holidays may be over, but I don't intend on packing up my party clothes or any of my sparkly things anytime soon. January is my birth month, so I still have a lot of great excuses to play dress up.

This black and white ruffled top and faux leather leggings have been one of my go-to outfits for a night on the town. I love how the top is feminine and girly, while the leggings are a bit edgy. It's the perfect pairing of sweet and sassy! This Kate Spade sequin leopard purse is one of my ultimate favorite accessories. My best friend, Debbie, got it for me a few years ago for Christmas, and it was love at first site. Is there anything better than sequins?! They make everything better.

I hope you have a great day, and look forward to seeing you on Wednesday.
