Happy Wednesday, friends!

I hope you had a wonderful Fourth of July! It's hard to believe that it's already come and gone, just like that. I think with having been on vacation, and coming back to new house overload, I have kind of been in a daze....and lost track of time!

Speaking of the new house, we spent most of the weekend there doing odd jobs. We assembled my new desk and other office items, we finished installing our STUNNING outdoor floral displays, and we also painted our front door! GASP! I am totally a DIYer when it comes to a lot of stuff, but when it comes to painting, no thanks. We are having the entire house re-painted in 'our' colors from top to bottom by painters, so we figured, what the heck, we'll do the front door ourselves just to say we did it.

I had to have a red front door (positive, fung shui vibes, obvi), and knew it would be an undertaking to do, but would be a fun project to do together. Five coats of paint, two days, and several margaritas later, our labor of love was complete. It took longer then expected, but we had fun laughing, listening to music, and playing with Safari in between coats. It definitely will be something that makes us smile every time we see it.

The wood floors we are having installed will be completed tomorrow, and then the painters will start their two week long project at the end of this week. Thankfully we have some buffer time in between our move-out, and move-in to get everything we want done. I am also doing several additions to the master closet and master bath. I have had so much fun so far getting to tweak things here and there, to make it uniquely ours.

Speaking of unique, how amazing is this Azalea jumpsuit? I love the retro vibe of the fabric, and the silhouette is the perfect mix of vintage/modern. Although it may be romper season with the heat of summer upon us, jumpsuits make for great evening attire - casual, but refined. My mom's vintage belt takes the outfit up a notch (can you say amazing?!), and it paired perfectly with  my stunning Julie Vos bangle, cuff and ring, and these big, bold Chanel earrings from Switch
