Happy Wednesday! Can you believe that we're already counting down the last remaining days of January?
I can barely get my head around the fact that my birthday is already tomorrow! Although I can't say I'm excited to get another year older, I love getting to celebrate and all the festivities that surround it. I always like reflecting on the past year, what I've learned, and what I hope to achieve in the coming year, as well. It's kind of like my New Year, I guess!
Tomorrow night we're kicking off my celebratory long weekend and going to see The Bridges of Madison County musical. I'm a huge theater buff, and the movie is among one of my favorites, so I was thrilled when Adam surprised me with tickets. It won the 2014 Tony for best score, so I'm really looking forward to a mid-week date night birthday celebration. On Saturday we'll be going out with all our friends, which I'm so excited about. It's always nice to have a great excuse to get everyone together, and an excuse for presents doesn't hurt either! Haha.
Of course you know I've been planning my outfits accordingly, and when I came across this Nicole Miller top, it just screamed party. I love the mix of lace and fringe, and the length is very flattering. It's an unexpected twist on two common trends, which is really fun. It could also be paired with a pencil skirt, leggings, or white denim.
