There's nothing more popular this season than over the knee boots. I feel like they have been popular for a while, but it wasn't until recently that I took the plunge and bought a pair...or two!

What I always like to look for in boots are ones that are slim in the calves (it is a lot harder than  you may think). My favorite pair of riding boots are from Tory Burch, and I have had them for years. I'm lucky they still look brand new since Adam will polish them every once in a while when he's polishing his own shoes for work. I swear, they look like a night and day difference.

Recently I have been eyeing the Stuart Weitzman 'Highland' boots, but was really hesitant because of the nearly $800 price tag. I was thrilled when I came across these Ivanka Trump Saffri boots that are almost identical, and a fraction of the cost. Better yet, they are good for small calves/thighs, especially when wearing thicker fabrics like leggings of jeans. They do fall down a little here and there, but for the most part, the suede fabric stays close to your calve/leg, which is great for elongating your figure and flattering any shape. If heels aren't your thing, there's a great over the knee boot that is flat from SheIn, and they're only $41 - obsessed!

From dresses to jeans, and from day to night, over the knee boots are the must have shoe of the season.
