Rodeo Ready with Elaine Turner

Shirt | Jeans | Boots (similar style here & here) | Handbag | Belt (vintage, similar style) | Necklace | Earrings | Sunglasses

It's time to dust off your cowboy boots, because it's rodeo season here in Houston. We're approaching the final days of the season, and you don't want to miss your chance to enjoy this favorite Texas pastime. Did you know that the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo is the largest in the world? Last year they had a record turnout and welcomed 2.6 million people!

Whether you're heading out to enjoy one of the concerts, to chow down on hot dogs and funnel cake, or ride the ferris wheel, I've found the perfect outfit for you. I mean dressing the part is half the fun right?

It is hard to go wrong with denim when you're going to the rodeo, and this chambray shirt from Elaine Turner has the perfect feminine touches. I love the cold shoulder action, and the ribbon detailing. I would also pair this shirt with a lighter wash of denim, and tie it in the front to create a different look.

I've had these boots for forever, and love how the lavender and turquoise hues match my python tote. The bag also has a detachable strap, which makes it perfect for slinging it over your shoulder when you're playing all the carnival games or dancing to the music! It also comes in cork, which is too cute for summer!

I've teamed up with Elaine Turner to give one lucky winner a $200 gift card! Head to my Facebook or Instagram for all the details on how to enter. The winner will be announced Friday!

  1. Your boots are amazing but I’m seriously obsessed with that bag! I can’t decide if I like it better in the cork or snakeskin! Both are soooo cute!
