Happy May! I hope you had a fantastic weekend and got rested up and ready to take on a new week!
I can't believe summer is already here. We have so many summer plans that I'm excited for. From the annual Walk to Cure Arthritis on May 14th (if you're in the area, please join us - you can find all the details here), to visiting family for Memorial Day, my cousin's wedding in Spain in June, heading back home to Wisconsin in July and August, and that's just what's currently on the calendar! I know the time is going to just fly by.
You know I rarely wear neutrals but this dress and jacket have been my uniform for the past few weeks (shhh don't tell). This cropped blazer is also only $33 - added bonus!
I feel like I have so many clothes (and even more dresses), but when I'm shopping my closet for my day-to-day outfit, I always fall short. Either everything is too fancy, or beach ready, so I have been stocking up on simple day-to-day dresses. What I mean by this, is an outfit that is easy and mindless to throw on, and can take you from running errands, to breakfast/lunch meetings, and is simple and comfortable. Plus, you won't be embarrassed if you run into someone you know when you're out and about. Come on, that's happened to all of us! :)
Shop my five favorite (all under $60) below. What makes these dresses perfect, is you can dress them up or down, play around with statement jewelry or stick to something dainty, and they can also be belted and paired with a blazer or a sweater for chilly mornings or nights. They also pair perfectly with tennis shoes, sandals, wedges and heels.
