Valentine's + Galentine's Tablescape

Minted party decor {this is the unique party kit} ℅ | Rose Gold sequin tableclothNapkins {a dozen for $12!} | Waterford champagne flutes | Anthropologie pink champagne glasses {similar style here} | Mikasa Palazzo vase | Voluspa candle

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and what better way to kick off Cupid's holiday than with a festive tablescape.

Whether you're having a romantic night with your honey, hosting a festive party for your girlfriend's, or throwing a bash for the kids, this fun set-up can cover all your basis (minus the champagne, of course)!

I purchased this pink sequin tablecloth and pink napkins when I celebrated my birthday last year. The napkins were a fantastic deal, costing only $1 per napkin. I got a dozen in pale pink and a dozen in hot pink, because I thought the alternating tones added more flare to the table. I love how they popped on top of the muted tablecloth.

Minted offers fantastic party decor for a range of holidays and you can choose per item, or purchase one of their pre-made packages. My "Unique Party" package included most of the items you see above, including the cute paper straws and table confetti, which I chose to use as coasters and plate liners. It also came with some fantastic stickers, table signs, note cards and a banner, which you'll see in a later post when I show you how to decorate your bar cart for Valentine's Day.

Before snapping photos I watched a tutorial on how to fold the napkins into the fortune cookie shape you often see when dining out. I didn't do too bad for a first timer, right? When entertaining, no question is ever too dumb. My favorite party planning helpers are named Google and YouTube. However, for this napkin origami tutorial, I used Amazon Video, and in case you're curious how to fold your napkins like a fortune cookie, you can learn how here.

Happy hosting!
