Hello, weekend!

I had a fabulous, fashionable and blinged out day yesterday! The day began with attending the grand opening of the new, River Oaks District. River Oaks District is the creme de la creme. The best in shopping is all in one place - think Hermes, Cartier, Tom Ford, etc. - combined with fine dining, fitness and a revolutionary new movie theater concept, iPic. Everyone got a taste of what ROD has to offer its patrons, just check out the picture of what was in the swag bag!

The day continued with lunch in a jewelry store. No, this was not a dream but it sure did feel like Breakfast at Tiffany's. I was hosted by the gracious, family owned and run, Lewis Jewelers in Uptown Park. After sipping on rosé, it was time to try any and everything on, and I definitely took full advantage; it's not every day that you get to have free reign with all the diamonds and precious stones your heart could desire. I felt like a kid in a candy store. What I couldn't take my eyes (or hands) off of was every piece of jewelry by designer Victor Velyan (pictured above in the last two photos). Every piece was more stunning than the next, but my favorite was the gorgeous 24 karat gold ring with the most beautiful turquoise stone I've ever seen. I will definitely be dreaming about it for nights to come.
