You guys, this may very well be my favorite outfit this season! I find myself always steering toward dresses or pants with a top, but that doesn't mean my love affair with skirts doesn't run deep.
As a fashion lover, I am just like you and I'm always finding style inspiration from magazines, Pinterest, Instagram, TV, my favorite celebs and of course, from others. One look I always love when I see it is a great, cozy sweater with a polished skirt. That being said, I always feel like it is hard to locate just the right skirt and sweater (or blouse) that look perfect together....until now!
This monochromatic look has a great pop of metallic, and the coral color is an unexpected twist for winter. Love it. The skirt is under $60 and runs TTS (I am wearing a size 2), and my sweater is actually supposed to be 'off the shoulder' but I loved it as a cowl neck (wearing size XS - under $40). I paired it with a leather jacket (which I also have in black), to make the ensemble a bit more street chic than office ready
This look would be great to wear if you are hosting a festive soiree at your house, attending your spouse's company holiday party, or going to a Christmas brunch.
