Hello Wednesday!

Do you notice anything different? I got my hair cut on Friday, although it wasn't a drastic change, four inches sure feels a lot lighter. Plus with some perfect fresh highlights from my colorist, Ana, I'm ready to tackle Spring (although that's still a few weeks away)!

I'm getting so excited for my trip which is coming up fast and quick. I don't know about you, but I always get a little anxious before I travel as well. Do I have everything I need? Did I forget something? How am I going to make it nearly a month without the use of my cell phone?! One thing I never forget when I travel is to pack layers, no matter how hot or cold the climate it.

Traveling in layers makes it easy to add or take off any item. Weather is so variable, that it is always better to travel safe, than to be sorry. Plus, layering makes your pieces look more polished, while still having a relaxed appearance. I love pairing everything with scarves, layering leggings under tunics or dresses, and adding a sweater or a stylish jacket whenever necessary.

Case in point, this darling sea foam Molly Bracken moto jacket, and Vera Bradley scarf. The colors in both mixed perfectly, and I love the color sea foam. Molly Bracken is a Parisian based brand that I recently found out about and have began to love. Think feminine silhouettes, featuring unique patterns and prints.

Another Parisian brand I love is, Emma & Chloe, which is where my modern gold earrings are from. Emma & Chloe is a monthly jewelry subscription, which started in France three years ago, and is the biggest jewelry box company in Europe (and is now available in the US!!!). Use promo code XOASHLEY to get 50% off your first box! Visit their Instagram and Facebook to see more cute pieces.
