Happy Thursday! I hope your first week on 2016 is off to a great start!
This owl necklace from Ohbon is truly a statement necklace if I've ever seen one. The owl pendant is hand-soldered in brass, and the dark, midnight blue beads are made of glass from the Czech Republic. The necklace is so unique and one-of-a-kind - it's definitely a scene stealer. I had yet to wear it before heading to Mexico, so I knew I had to bring it on vacation with me.
The blues in the necklace and dress paired perfectly with the picturesque ocean backdrop. It may be the sand under my feet, swimming or the sound of waves crashing, that make the ocean my happy place. I once read a quote that said something about how the ocean makes you remember that you're only a small part of something so vast and large, and I definitely agree with that sentiment.
