A Foodie's Delight

There's nothing better than noshing on delicious food and having a cheat day on the weekend. If you're in Houston, look no further, I have the perfect restaurant for you. If you're not in the area, I'm sorry, but you're missing out. Just wait until you see the photos - I'll let them speak for themselves.

The Union Kitchen is a neighborhood favorite where global cuisine and southern hospitality meet. From the casual and charming atmosphere, to the excellent service and expansive, yet unique menu, you will definitely satisfy all your foodie needs and cravings! We enjoyed three appetizers, three entrees and three desserts (don't judge!) and loved every last one of them.

The Union Kitchen has three convenient locations in Bellaire, Memorial and Kingwood. Join them for lunch and dinner, as well as brunch where they serve up $9 bottomless mimosas and feature a build your own Bloody Mary bar.

Fried Asparagus with Texas Lump Crab & ShrimpPepper CalamariLolo Hawaiian Tostada

The Calamari and the Lolo Tostada were out of this world. The Calamari had the perfect batter and was topped with pepperoncini peppers, feta, green onions & scampi butter - unreal.

Center Cut Ribeye
The lyonnaise potatoes that accompanied it were so yummy...and I ate all 14oz of the steak!!

Pistachio Crusted Chicken
One of their best selling dishes and I can see why. Topped with mushrooms, artichoke hearts in a sun-dried tomato lime cream sauce on a bed of linguini with marinara, it was definitely a crowd pleaser

Gulf Red Snapper Portobello Crab Meat Imperial
I think my mom died and went to heaven over this delicious dish

Last but not least, a sampling of their most popular desserts. My favorite was the chocolate cheesecake topped with creme brulee (on left). I am a creme brulee fanatic, and trying it on top of cheesecake was a first for me.
