I've said it before but I'll say it again, I absolutely love color. Sometimes a little black and white is just what the doctored ordered, though. Case in point, this simple, geometric print Diane Von Furstenberg t- shirt dress. 

I wanted to amp up the glam, so I added this faux fur vest by Etosell, which is under $20. What I like about it is the fact that the fur is only on the front (it is knit in the back), making it more figure flattering than a lot of other vest that have 360 degree fur coverage.  

This is a great outfit that can take you day to night. Swap out the flats for heels and opt for a smaller clutch versus a full-sized handbag. If you're like I am, even for a night on the town, I tend to keep my larger handbag. It is so hard for me to eliminate anything because you just never know when you may need your Tide to Go or Band-Aids. One thing I love about this Louis Vuitton bag, besides the vibrant red color, is that it's made of very stiff leather, so it always maintains its shape. There's nothing I hate more than watching my bag fall flat and all the contents spilling all over.
